I'm ok thanks claire, bit tired so may fall asleep. Been a long day as got to the hospital early as doctor's rounds today. Decision made no more discussions about home for mum until at least next tuesday now. She is deteriorating quickly now not sure she will ever make it home again. :(

She said some very important stuff to me today almost like she is trying to get everything in order. I had a few tears in front of her for the first time. :o She has also been talking lots about old relatives long gone, I'm not taking that as a good sign. :(

It must be almost impossible not to cry x

    Morning.

I am decluttering the house as hope to have it on te market soon. Asked mum if i could store my stash in her loft as ours is pants and full of old wasp nest that i need to remove! Its not very accessable for more than occassional use. Anyhow, this basically translates into mum probably wishing she had asked more questions.

I have 127 bottles of lenor, after months of use and giving them away to family and friends, 86 tins of five beans, 32 bottles of spray stain remover, 22 bottles of flash floor cleaner and a few bottles of other cleaning assortments.

No wine as we dont drink, no dishwasher tablets left for a few weeks now. 2 cans of reloaded though!

Looks mental when its all in one place!
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

Have a lovely day Nannylala :)

Thanks David. Don't think it matters how you say something, it's lovely just to know you're being thought of :D
I've several friends who I've barely seen or spoken to since November when this all kicked off. I'm pretty sure they just don't know what to say/think i'll be busy etc. I'm just the same as ever :p
BTW do you not need sleep? I'm struggling this morning and you were up much later than me
    Time for another cuppa :D

Hope all goes well with your chemo today logie. Thinking of you
  • Good morning everyone, been trying to read back but keep getting interrupted.

Am on a mission this morning, DD is away for a couple of weeks so I can properly clean the bathroom, including use of mould remover :eek: Might actually get rid of it for a while while the bathroom is not in use 24/7!!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
  • Dear Tinyshoes

Big hugs to you and your Mum. Thinking of you both

I have already dragged mine out this morning - he wasn't impressed :D Came back in and he ran straight back to bed -bliss :D

I think you just tried with the wrong dog. Mine's small and compact but has a stomach like Dr Who's Tardis.

You're welcome to have a shot, and if you're worried about travelling to pick him up I'll look up Parcelforce and see what they can offer.:D
