    Hi guys, yes been lurking.
RL a bit full on at the moment, depression reared its ugly head again so inwardly falling apart but trying to hold everything together for DS, no help or understanding as usual from family but hey I'm used to that by now:(.
I thought it might be different this time when I asked for their help but everyone's too busy with their own lives to worry about me so I've told them all to eff off the next time they need my help. Don't think many of them are talking to me now but I needed to get that off my chest. I've finally realised that I'm always the 'giver' in the family and most of them are leaches sucking my happiness, making me miserable, they're always the ones who make me feel bad if I can't help them (usually picking and dropping kids or them off to places), one got very upset when I couldn't lend her money to go out for the night eventhough I'd just told her I'd had to pay over £700 in rent arrears leaving me skint because housing benefit had been reduced to £4 a month in November but I'd never been informed of this change so my savings for the past year had all gone but in her eyes that was all my fault, she didn't seem to realise that the money was for a nice wee holiday for DS and I and that DS was very upset that it had gone. :( She just didn't care so I told her exactly what I thought.
Lets just say I got fed up with being the doormat and let rip at them all :o, I'm usually quiet with them so think I've shocked a few.

Couple all this with me falling very ill, I think I just got very run down so caught everything going, and DS now sick it hasn't been a great month or so. Still feeling emotionally fragile, very down but at least I know I am, very teary and really don't want to go out of the house because I ache all over and am so physically tired I just want to veg out for another month, hibernation would be good :D
I had final load of blood tests today, well hopefully final load, feel like a pin cushion but the sister does mine and doesn't bruise or hurt like the other vampires so has been a lot easier on me this time. Hopefully have avoided hospital this time but can't keep dodging the bullet forever, at some point it will be surgery but I'll keep that at bay until DS is old enough to look after himself, say when he's about 40 :D

Lots of stupid things going wrong but not going to make this post any longer than it already is, other people have more serious things to worry about, besides this has taken me almost 40 mins to write :o

Big hugs to everyone who needs one plus extras for those who want one 'just because' (been getting a load of these ones from DS lately)

oh SD am so sorry you've been having such a hard time:( I wish you had at least come on shared the load with us. We maybe can't make it better, but we have Alot of ears:o

please don't lurk. getting things off your chest doesn't always make it better but it makes it a bit more bearable and every so often on here someone pops up with a solution. You have alot of friends here who miss you. I understand better than most what depression does to you :( I hope you will at least feel up to checking in now and again, let us know you are ok. Look after yourself :A xxxxx

Fairclaire - keeping my fingers crossed that its just your radiator hose gone. You certainly caught it in good time - the key is heating no longer working in the car ...! Thank god for the water you had. So anyone else with this - don't delay - you don't need a cracked head gasket

Had something similar in my polo many, many moons ago - concerned re headgasket but was ok - phew, - but yes heater had stopped demisting windscreen quickly and car taking ages to heat up - classic signs said RAC man and motor mech. First I knew was an audible warning alarm in car when I was out in wild and woolly back roads of North Yorkshire (cold, wet night and miles from anywhere - had to trudge up farm track to ask to phone RAC - this when mobiles still fairly brick sized and few and far betweem). RAC man followed me at first (hadn't found problem), but then buzzer again - then found radiator leak - pouring out as fast as you could put it in - so got tow rest of way. Thats when realised re lack of demisting and heating link. Couldn't believe hubby

H- "How did you know when to stop?" M- "I heard a buzzer and looked at panel to see car engine heat sign in dangerouse red zone." "But why didn't you just turn around and come home?" (We were talking 15 miles either way - home or destination). M - "Cos in the manual it says that if you ever heard this noise it was important to stop immediately" (took me ages to find it whilst waiting for RAC man but remembered reading it when I had first got it 10 years before). H- "You've read your car manual?!" M - "Er yes". Turns out he'd never read his - and yes he is an engineer (electrical) Yes I have to cut him off at the pass with anything technical - he likes to tinker before reading anything and I like to read everything before touching anything!:rotfl: .

thanks Morgy.....this made me :) .....my oh asked me how I knew to put water in............my dad told me:A, I can't remember when, but it came up sometime. I haven't said, but I think it's the radiator. If Im right, then I must have listened to him more than I thought I did:D
