Lol talking about tweezers, I wish I had a tiny pair as I ve managed to get a cotton bud stuck in my ear. I know these shouldn t be used but when you have ears like mine that drive me crazy itching all the time it's hard. Anyway I went to the outpatients at the hospital this morning and they can't see anything:eek:so I have to go to the e.n.t. Clinic next week Great.

Lol it's not the first time. They make these bud things cheaply now and they soon come off. The relief I get when I've finally reached the itch in both ears is on a par with mini o s if you get my drift:)

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ELSE IN YOUR EAR!

I know they itch but that's because they are trying to expel a foreign body. By pushing other stuff in there, all you are achieving is to push it further down and potentially perforate your eardrum, leading to possibly needing surgery to correct it.

Why do you have to wait until next week? Why can't they see you this week?

Have you been to the docs about your itchy ears? Mine used to drive me mad and I'd rub them till they were sore. I was prescribed an Otex ear spray and that cleared it up:) (NB not the Otex that can be bought over the counter for wax problems)

Or olive oil drops or sodium bicarbonate drops for wax

Oh yes and the hospital. They just say keep my ears dry which isn t easy and gave me some cream called Elocon which is the best cream I've tried and I've tried a few but doesn't t get rid of the itching. It just makes my ears better if they get sore because of earbuds.

In Asda the lurpak spreadable is on roll back at the moment, the 500gs i mean. They are £2 each and so therefore are £4 a kg.That's cheaper than buying the kg size which are £5.60 odd in most supermarkets even getting the £1.25 cash back with Quidco. However i THINK I saw them in Tesco for £5 but not absolutely sure.
    I got the £2 yesterday in Sada, compares against Morries @ £2.98, Sainsbobs @ £3 and Tosco @ £2.98.

Mine was apparently due to eczema (sp?) but why it only affects my ears I don't know.
