Evening artha or as it is now morning :D yes someone did post that

Morning David. Thought we'd lost you last night but I guess you have to have a night off from time to time:cool:. Hope you are enjoying your week off:)

    Morning Earlybirds.

Was browsing through my emails this morning and looked at the current Living Social deals and saw this one which I don't think has been posted anywhere:

    http://www.livingsocial.com/cities/1569/deals/591942-20-to-spend-on-printer-cartridges-with-delivery?afsrc=1&utm_campaign=MorningSend&utm_content=1569&utm_medium=email&utm_source=blast

Seem like reasonable prices to start with, but have never used them. I'm stocked up with ink for several years now so of no interest to me

Nice quick edit there tweets :rotfl: I was wondering what I was getting for a minute!

I've had a fab weekend so hope everyone else has. Babysitting for my grandson. He could see one of my dogs for the first time and his face lit up while his eyes followed her around the room.

My OH decided to try and make his own burgers (after me telling him how simple they'd be to make) so he made a batch yesterday and we're having them for tea tonight :j

Are you liking your new school tweets or aren't you settling in yet?

My OH always used to make burgers himself. The secret is really good steak mince, parsley, finely chopped onion and not to handle the mixture too much as it can make them tough. We had one of those Lakeland burger presses but he found shaping by hand was better. Yum. Think I might give them a try this week.

I read before i post then spot mistakes when read after sent so have to edit .

I am waiting for a few things i am supposed to be testing so hopefully they arriving soon. :D

I always make my own burgers and freeze find they taste better homemade.

Dont like new school cleaning at it ok but hate the kitchen the atmosphere is awful i just go do my work and come home. A couple times i have had a good cry when i have got home. Then think of the money i need it to pay the bills. I liked it in my old kitchen apart from when area manager came in. We where a friendly bunch and middays and teachers spoke. I had been in that kitchen about 8 years. Hopefully they move me again to a different kitchen i can settle in.
  • Good morning all :) Had a nice little thank you from Vanish, wrote them a nice little letter thanking them for a wonderful product ... blah blah blah ... and how thanks to them we have been able to use a baby blanket I had when I was born for our 4 boys
Well, not only was it a nice little thank you for the letter but it also contained a £10 voucher :D result.

Not such a great result from Monster Energy drinks ... genuine complaint ... got sent some stickers ... grr!
    Totals for 2013:
    Wombled: £0.87
    Roadkill: £1.16
By the time I can make ends meet .... someone has moved the ends

I was going to get him a burger press but he said he liked forming them by hand too. His ingredients were beef mince, onion, egg yolk, breadcrumbs and chilli flakes as we like our food spicey. I'll mention the parsley to him as he uses that on a lot of other food he makes.

I did thank you :) Didn't have the stamina to keep up with the other girlies so was home by half 11. Treated myself to one small glass of wine :D By all accounts it got a bit messy after I left though with shots being consumed and several ended up being reacquainted with their posh meal :rotfl:

My god girl, you done good to stay out till half 11, and I bet that wine tasted good, not that I like wine myself, a lager girl me. Always lower the tone, when I am out with friends, cause they all drink wine lol. U probably felt much better than they did the following morning anyway. God bless you, take care and look after yourself.

Morning all, dry bright morning here.

Might try some washing out on the line this morning, my mum always tells me every year "February dries what it wets", so might give it a go.

    Hope everyone is well.

Logie have a good rest today.

Quick one for you geniuses on here, I have 3 children today under 7 any ideas on eating out on the cheap. prefer not to do mcdonalds, thanks . ive missed so much lately but its nice to see david and artha are still here :)

Nice to see you here for a change Barbara:). Can't think of anywhere local to eat cheaply for kids other than the obvious. If you can wait till around 4pm you could always hang around the chilled reductions area at T...sarnys are cheap at that time:rotfl::rotfl:

Did you get the sledges you were looking for last time we spoke?
