    I hope everyone is well.

I'm miles behind with the thread and am about to get even further behind because my iphone is dead and from tomorrow I will be broadband-less

Why? Because tomorrow (at long last) is moving day!! :j:j:j but we don't get our broadband connection put in for another week :(

So expect to see very little of me for a spell as I'll be unpacking boxes and organising my stash rather than checking in here

(PS, I wombled a foosball table at the dump today! A woman parked her car next to mine and started to unload it, I asked if it was broken and when she said no I asked if I could have it. It never touched the ground, it went from her car straight to mine. The missus was not too impressed but she'll come around before too long. I just know she's itching to have a go really :rotfl:)

Great to see you AAu1, and glad you are finally moving in. What a fantastic valentines present for the missus, she must be so proud!

She never answered what cob nuts were. Never heard of them (I dont think).

If it helps, Cobnuts are mainly found in Kent, known as Kentish cobs. Same family as Hazelnuts and Filberts. My late Dad loved them all, and we were all told about them at an early age. All taste lovely.
Nice to see the banter, sat here having a little giggle. Everyone else (except DS2 and his xbox) is in bed asleep, but I'm still in night mode, despite being up and busy all day.

No, but enough work is done that we can move in.

    I still need to

put on second coat of tile paint in bathroom
    paint bathroom ceiling
get vinyl flooring for upstairs bathroom and downstairs WC
Take 3 doors off and plane the base so that they close over the new carpet
Trim and fit 2 venetian blinds, 1 vertical blind, 3 roller blinds
    Lay carpet in the study
Have a plumber mate move a radiator

and that's just before I go back to work on Tuesday

There is plenty more to be done to get it 100% what we want but we are darn close :D

Night night, I'll switch the lights off and chuck the cat out then, as you lot went to bed without doing it. :D :rotfl:.
