It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.
  • Good evening everybody, I hope you have had a good day so far. Thanks to the OP about Mr S reducing valentine stuff, I went and got some chocolates.

Congratulations fairclaire on being accepted to do your PHD that's fantastic news.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

Afternoon everyone, it's a lovely sunny day here in Yorkshire. Washing on the washing line for the first time this year:j
Just been out with DD on the scooter, last day of school holiday, called into S@insb local.....didn't even know we had one, it was a pub last time I looked!! Anyway loads of valentine heart chocs at 30p a pack, heart lollies 30p each and chocolate roses 30p each. Also went into Tesc local and bought hubby a box of Dairy box half price at £2.
Me and DD tried making our own valentines chocs yesterday but it was a bit of a disaster!!

Someone was saying about their cat ruining their monitor yesterday
Sally06 I think, my cat has the habbit of scratching her claws on the side of the sofa we now occasionally rub the surface with orange peel as she hates the smell of it she hasnt done it since. Maybe if you wipe the monitor with some sort of citrus fragrance /cleaner that might stop he/ she. Hth
Have a lovely afternoon, enjoy the sunshine.:j

thanks :) I will give that a try. I know my cats hate the smell of oranges. They run a mile if any of us are eating one:D
I said yesterday, this was the only bad habit my cats have. I forgot they also use our beds as a scratch post...and the radiator covers are a scratch post too! They have a perfectly good scratch post, but it has never been used! I have naughty cats!
