David, dont know if they still do it, but I know the greyhounds, if you called them up saying you were bringing a party/it was your birthday, they used to give out free tickets. Could be worth a call.

Job does have half term, but not until next week, and only got 2 - 3 days off.

Old enough without bringing it on but it is DW birthday we used to go up there when we where childless and carefree :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So will try that tomorrow but that deal you posted is pretty damn cheap 2 drinks, pie and peas and admission etc for a fiver each :T
