Afternoon had a few hours catching up with Lala. Her Dh had flowers ,ballon and chocs delivered to her this morning inspite of her telling him not to(old habits die hard as he has always spoilt her);)anyway they sent the wrong flowers and the florist had to return and apologise and bring the right ones:TWe popped out to our little A's not a lot doing and both spent an APG on things essentils we needed.Back home now and just sorted my Valentine meal for one= Lamb stew and bananas and custard.I also bought myself a bunch of red roses as this is what my late DH always did for me.I will raise a glass to him and remember all the lovely Valentines Days I was so lucky to share with him:lovethoug:lovethoug. As the saying goes it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.Hope you all have a lovely evening:T

Hugs to you on valentines day nanny, enjoy your drink and I'll raise a glass as well to a man who obviously had a very special lady in his life x

Sorry forgot who it was who wanted something to stop their dog barking.

I been having problems with Poppy since neighbour moved in over back about 6 months ago Her dog soon as it comes out it starts barking and sets Poppy off if she out

Poppy been making a mud run and coming in with muddy paws worse than before

Mum bought me this http://www.easylifegroup.com/ultrasonic-bark-buster-3550 and :T when dog starts barking and sets Poppy off it must work because Poppy comes running in scared and other dog shuts up :D

I think it was spirallingdown who was having the doggie barking problem. :)

My very lovely hubby has come home with a card, roses, chocolate, wine and kopperberg cider (he knows me so well) even though I told him not to bother as he's taking me out for dinner on sat. I feel very special and loved today :T:)

    Evening gang,
still not well with throat/sinus infection again. Third time in as many months.
Can I please moan to you lot as I haven't got anyone else who listens.
I took my sons dog to the vet today as she has an intermittent sore ear, probably a fungal infection.
Went to your vet chain as a drop in and it was confimed as fungal.
They dispensed some drops and HUMAN antibiotics which I had to sign for as they could harm her!!!
    Anyhow the bill was £75!!!!:(
When I got home the £18 drops are non prescription and can be delived by any online vet supplies for £6 and the antibiotics I buy in spain for 3 euros.
I complained at the time but the vet said it needed a swab and to stick a cotton bud in her ear was an extra £20, she left the room with it and came bakc and siad "I tested it its fungal".
I rang from home and they just said "thats our prices and thats that".
Is there anything I can do, they wouldn't let me go without paying and got really funny when I questioned them?
They even had the cheek to tell me to come back in two weeks and it would be another £40 min.
Of course I told them I would be registering elsewhere.
  • buy 3 for £8 (£3.25 each)

it gives a discount on receipt of 2 for £5.50 and charges full price for the third one (£3.25).

End result is you are charged £8.75 instead of £8 so you will be owed 75p and a £2 gift card. Particularly good if you find it on a womble:D

I actually managed to womble a couple more receipts down T's again today!!! Popped down there to try to find some beef wellington, but they had it stashed out back and would not get it out, apparently it's not going through with the meal deal :mad:

My store had them stacked to the raffters. Should have been a sign that the meal deal was working correctly!
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.
