    Evening all,

Can't stop, just had a quick lurk to try and catch up with everyones' news but done a terrible job. :o

Hope night shift behaving in my absence. ;)

    Hugs to Logie :)

Have to pay full price for shopping lately keep missing whoopsie time and have no idea what to look out for anymore. :(

Had lovely chat with Lala earlier and hear Alfie is doing well. :T

3dogs, I am so pleased to hear your mum is doing so much better downstairs in the care home. :A

Having rollercoaster with my mum at the moment has been stable for a week now with pain so talk of her coming home but today cancer has finally showed itself to the world on her back so not sure what that means now. The Sister at the hospice is an absolute angel and is very honest with me, mum will probably only be with us for few months at most maybe just weeks left and told me not to worry about respite for my holiday in july as she was sorry but she was sure mum would not be with us then. I like the sort of honesty you can get in the world at times like this.

I really miss you all my friends, I have far too much going on at the moment including sewerage all over my mum's drive several times from next door, but that will have to be another story for another time. But guess you can see why I have not been around much. :o

Off back to the hospice now to make mum's horlicks for bedtime. ;)

Oh by the way David. you owe me some of your precious, I went to my GP appointment on monday but will fill you in on details some other time. :)

Nice to see you back TS:) You don't really think David. will part with any "precious" do you:rotfl:

Might be mistaken but grumpy, i think i remember you mentioning you are local a while back before i flew the nest from tiny, debs and dodo. Did i remember correctly or am i confused? You posted a picture of the incline.
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

    OH is definitely learning... :j
I sent him to Ts as I'm in no fit state this evening. He came back with bakery whoopsies, fruit juice, Chokablok ice cream and flowers having spent a grand total of £1.88 :T He even went to CS as a CC coupon hadn't scanned properly. Turns out he'd bought long life rather than chilled juice but she let him have the money off anyway :)

He handed me the bunch of daffodils and said that he knows I wouldn't appreciate him spending loads on flowers for Valentines Day so he'll get me a decent bunch on Friday when they are all reduced :rotfl:Might seem like romance is dead but actually shows he knows me very well :D
♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥
  • Sorry to hear your update tinyshoes ((( ))) for yourself, family and your mum x
  • Hugs Tinyshoes, I've been there too and agree that although it was hard the nurses' compassion and honesty helped me and my family make the right decisions. Thinking of you and yours :A

thanks for your good wishes - he has a facebook page - Milton Brasserie so you will be able to check us out. Has been a real roller coaster but we are slowly getting there. Had a couple of really good trip advisor reviews so think we are on the right track!!
I did check it out and put on a good luck msg for him. (Im the one with the sparkler) Will certainly have a look if I can, I visit Linmoor and Camphill with work, anywhere near? The menus look out of this world.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.
