Evening guys
I gave my brother a lift down to visit Mam at lunchtime and then picked my sister up, before coming back here to sort out stuff for charity shop. Filled the car up with toys, ornaments, gifts, books, videos, clothes, etc and off we went along the high street looking for a charity shop we could get parked outside of ...... ended up at The Salvation Army shop which would have pleased my Dad. He always supported them coz he had been a Merchant Seaman and they had kitted him out and looked after him twice when coming back to UK with nothing after being sunk during the war
I went to see Mam at the home at tea time, and was delighted to see her sitting up in her chair and dressed, instead of in her bed :j. She is looking so much better since they moved her downstairs to the normal care home, from the end-of-life unit. And the careers there spend more time with her. She has actually put on a little weight since being moved and it is really nice to see her like this. Don't get me wrong, Mam is extremely ill, very weak, and her Alzheimer's is getting worse, but she can still have a laugh and a giggle even at the times she isn't 'quite with us'
Anyway, I am off to bed now, so goodnight everyone, sleep wellMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I think I've spent most of the last week walking up and down the stairs and sitting on the bathroom floor though. Good job the bathroom is being redone next week- I'm sick of the sight of it! :rotfl:

Have been lookig at A offers on A.com, MSM and SSO. SSO seems to be slightly out of sync, but does seem to actually reflect the prices that go through the till. So am wondering if the glitchy A days occur because there is a days time lag when offers END on A.com and msm - as we know, they drop off MSM a day early.
So perhaps what we need to do is track dates when A multibuys are ending and pile in that day because MSM will pull them a day early?
This also ties in with glitchy days being on Sun/Mon as this is the A pricing changeover time.
Eg, coke x 8 pack is listed on SSO as new 2 for £7 offer starting today, this is a rollover offer, but A.com and MSM seem to be a day out. I am not a whizz with msm and know different things appear at different times and change whether logged in/out or with the wind, so this may be complete rubbish
It is difficult beecause A don't seem to publish their offer end dates in the way S and T do - eg they are not listed on MSM or SSO. But I am sure the combined savvyness of peeps here can work out if there is any mileage in this theory .......0 -
