Bankrupt, now what?!

Having gone bankrupt last year (December 2012) you'd think I'd have learned a lesson about budgeting etc - BUT, I'm still rubbish with money, it's now nearly 2 months since my bankruptcy and I'm still failing to budget properly/save money!!

Any advice or just a MSE kick in the (_!_) would be very gratefully received!!

  • Did your SOA cover all your outgoings. If they did try to live within the confines of those allowances and do all you can to minimise your outgoings. Use oter boards to help with the savings and if you can svae a fiver here and there have a treat. That could get you inspired to cut your expenses even more.
  • Many organisations offer advice on learning how to budget, CAB, CAP, and credit unions all do. Might be worth a try?
