How can I improve KDPH

I recently applied for a job. I did well and scored very high on there assessment. However even after 2 attempts was told I was let down by my KDPH. So I learned its a fancy word for typing speed. I have worked in call centres for years so was quite shocked.

Anyway just wondered best way to improve this, so my next job opportunity does not pass me by
would love to be a home owner. hate private renting
scared of debt. almost debt free.

  • Was it speed or accuracy?

I'm a quick typer on word etc as it auto corrects your spelling but when u did a typing test was shocking as it didn't do that! It also caught you out by wanting things like double spacing that you wouldn't normally do.

Only advice I can give is type out a page from a magazine etc to get faster.

It's possible to buy books with touch typing tests in them which are quite useful as they allow you to practice and build up speed as well as accuracy for the difficult letter combinations and using numbers. I bought one several years back where I'd been in a job for several years which built up my number entry speed but the word typing accuracy went downhill. The books also have the words counted so you can see quite easily if you are progressing.
