[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Would you put yourself and/or your family at risk by trying to fix your own faulty gas appliance at home, or by asking a friend or relative to look at it, rather that calling in a professional?
Young homeowners or renters aged between 16-24 are most at risk from carbon monoxide poisoning or explosions. This age group is more likely than any other to try and get a mate or relative to fix their faulty gas appliance before they call in a CORGI registered installer.
Women are the worst culprits for trying to get friends or relatives to help them fix gas appliances before calling in a professional, with one in five of those surveyed in new research released by CORGI admitting to this. Men on the other hand are more likely to try and fix a faulty gas appliance themselves - one in five would try and fix their own gas boiler if it stopped working!
It is important to be aware that faulty gas appliances can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning and death, while unskilled tampering with a boiler could cause explosions. We need to get our priorities straight when it comes to faulty gas appliances. The only absolutely safe option when it comes to fixing gas appliances is to call in a CORGI registered professional.
As 'Spring cleaning season' is upon us many people will be tempted to do some home DIY. To avoid such dangers, the gas safety body CORGI have decided to get you out of the house and into some of the UK's best attractions including Madame Tussauds, Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, London Eye and Warwick Castle and a CO detector to ensure your home and family are safe.

Don't think so brook_son, it wasn't in my sent items anyway. I think it's just that the same question is being used a lot at the mo.

It gets really confusing sometimes - which ones have you entered?!
I always try to remeber to say thanks so I can see (also I am really grateful to all who put details here - where do you all find the time?)
I only do comps on here but when the answers are the same you think you must have already done them.
