Rolled up holiday pay

Is this not allowed anymore even for supply type work?
Relative is a supply teacher who gets paid an hourly rate for teaching as and when needed. Sometimes she will work a day or two and just put in a claim for hours worked or sometimes she will get a contract for a term or two.
For the longer contracts she still just gets paid for hours worked but has been told the hourly rate includes rolled up holiday pay. During that time she may get days off but wouldn't be paid. Is this allowed? If not did it change recently? She is in Scotland in case that makes a difference.

The holiday pay needs to be itemized seperately on any pay slips.0

No definitely not self employed has employee number PAYE and NI deducted as and when appropriate and although may work for different schools always same employer.
Holiday Pay isn't itemised separately.0 -
Time for negotiations.
who(in general terms) is the employer, agent, school, LA...
any way to get others with the same problem on the case so you all make the claim they can't stop employing everyon with the same problem.
Is the contract continuous or new fixed terms each time.
A claim for accrued unpaid holiday at the end of a contract period and taken to an ET if required should get it sorted.
Get a copy of the writen contract chances are it is a very old one that has not been updated to take account of more recent legislation.0 -

Difficult as often she is only one at school on supply

For short jobs of a couple of days there would be no contract but for longer jobs then she would get a contract

Will they not just say that it has been paid just not been itemised separately? And therefore net effect is zero anyway?

Just has a letter saying approved for supply and hourly rate is x which includes payment for holidays. Often if she does a terms work she doesn't get the contract through until after work has finished and they refer to an annual rate.

I work term time only for a college and I get extra in my hourly pay to cover holiday pay. I get paid for 36 weeks of the year spread over 12 months.
Maybe she is on something like that for eg. Basic hourly pay is £8 but gets paid £8.50 per hour to include holiday pay0 -

She just has a standard hourly rate which is meant to include holidays and only gets paid for hours worked.0
