I've been at my current address since Aug 2012, is this going to prevent me from getting hire purchase?

No reason it should as a stand alone item.
Are you on the electoral roll?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
As Tixy says, as a stand alone item it will not impact negatively on your application. Most main stream lenders look for traceability on the electoral roll for the last 3 years. I have assisted customers with clean credit searches that have only been at their current address for 4/5 weeks, but had minimum 3 years previous traceability at their home address. if you have moved frequently in the last few years, that will count against you.0
