fish roe

anyone cooked fish roe if so how? I think morrisons seem to be stocking cod roe at the moment, it is fairly cheap. I've seen it battered and deep fried in 'scallops' but any other ideas?

Simply fry it in a little butter. It doesn't need long, a couple of minutes is plenty.
Spread on toast, or my favourite is to stir into hot rice
It actually has quite a delicate flavour so you don't need to do too much to it IMO.Proud to be a moneysaver
