Hi guys,
Lets say you won a competition on ITV. If they phoned you up and didn't reply (one or more times) would they email you or send a letter in the post instead? Cheers.

As far as I know ITV comps don't ask for your address, so they couldn't write to you.
I have heard that even though you input an email address they don't email - they just keep trying to call you.0 -
I've often wondered if they would leave a message if you were unable to answer, does anyone have experience of that?0

Contacting winners
For standard competitions they will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners. They used to state the number of calls they would make each day, the calling pattern, how many days they would keep calling for etc and it was over a month before they would stop calling. Do not expect them to e-mail anymore as that would give an advantage to a particular entry route
It is only time critical competitions where they move on quickly if they cannot make contact without delay. The winner will be contacted as soon as practicable on or after the draw date as indicated in the interaction information. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact a winner on the phone number provided when entering the competition or such other method of contact deemed appropriate by the Promoter in its sole discretion in the circumstances. Where the prize is time critical and a winner needs to be found before the time to take up the prize passes, the announcement on air or the interaction information will indicate the date when the winner will be contacted and the Promoter will contact such winner on the phone number (or other method of contact (if appropriate)) they provided, calling three times in a two-hour daytime period or as indicated in the interaction information. If the winner cannot be contacted or successful contact is not made within the fixed time period as specified or if they fail to provide an address for delivery of the prize or fail to meet any of the eligibility requirements or are otherwise unable to comply with the interaction terms and conditions, this may result in forfeiture of the prize and the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that entrant (without further liability to that entrant) and offer the prize to the next eligible entrant and thereafter until a winner is found

When I won with Real Deal last year, I had a phone call one afternoon but as I picked it up it cut off. After googling and seeing it was an ITV number I got quite excited. I then didn't receive another call for about a week so I had got to the point of thinking they must have called my number by mistake, then they called again and I had won after all:jDon't know why they left it so long between calls though.2020 winsTrio of Bellabeat smart products, £50 That's LifeITV Winners Club Member #110

I should have added they (Real Deal) did tell the person who answered the phone where they were calling from but not why and they just said they would try again (used 1471 to get the number and called them back I couldn't do with the waiting).0

Hi, I sure I heard a winner on Daybreak this morning say she had a winning email.
I usually see a phone number I don't know, get my hopes up only to find it's some PPI company or similar, lol.I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0
