Good Afternoon Everyone

I've been a long term user of this site and had diaries years ago. I had depression, lost my way a little and ended up in more debt than before :(

Ok so a little about me, my name is Lucy, I'm 30 and spend my time between my OH's house and my Mum's (her's is close to work ) I have 1 loan which is a consolidation of an old loan and a large credit card debt . When I first came here my debt was spread over several places and was becoming unmanagable.

However things have changed and I am now dealing with the debt and my life has come back together.

So why have I come back here to write a diary? Well I am still £16,300 in debt :eek: which is from a 7 year loan I am 1 year into, I need a little bit of encouragement to keep me on the straight and narrow . I also now have a lovely OH who is fortunate enough to not have money problems, he knows mine and it really understanding.

But because there is the difference between us finanically I feel bad that I can't take us out for dinner and I can't treat him to things like he does me. I know he doesn't care but it makes me feel bad.

I'm currently at his (he's playing with a seat for his 4x4 and the mo) So I don't really have figures with me, and to be honest the debt payments aren't the problem. For me it's finding ways to pay it off quicker and have some spare cash for treats etc.

I hope you'll join me over the next few years and keep me on the straight and narrow

Morning all

Just a quick early morning post, made it safely home in all the horrible rain last night. I am so grateful for that as there was a tree down on a scary corner!

So plan for today...

pick up dvd for OH's valentine's present.
go home and have dinner with a friend, she's cooking so no spend

sure some interesting stuff will happen today.

Oh and I got home yesterday to a letter from my bank saying they are closing my credit card, I thought they already had! But I have officially been free of a credit card for 1 whole year! yay me!

Ok so Tuesday lunchtime is here.

I had a lovely evening with a friend and her little boy and had a good night's sleep.

Work have announced pay rises so should get a letter in the post soon and I've got my own lunch today, which I've not eaten yet so will sit down for a nibble in a bit. Although I need to try and lose some weight! does anyone know of any free weight loss websites that you can use to help you?

swiftly losing interest in work today, I'd rather be at home!

Afternoon

well joined up to a free diet thingy and warned OH that I'll be trying to lose weight

Nice cheap day today, lunch has been made and now eaten, so NSD so far yay! and a busy day a work so that's keeping me occupied.

Oh and I ate to many pancakes and made myself feel ill lol

So half way through the week.

I need to wrap OH's present before friday, just need to find some tape We might have found someone to buy my old car :jand even do the work it needs and while I have a new car, it's nice to think that someone would look after the old one. I'm sentimental like that lol

So I kind of managed to sit with in my new online diet thingy today, but I must try to sit in it comfortably. OH has been warned and has apparently enjoyed a really big fat meal while he can, he thought it would be cruel if I was there :rotfl: But I need to do it, been bloated and sore all week and 1 set of my work trousers are starting to feel tight :eek::(, but as I've lost 4 stone before I know I can do it, just need to get my head into it.

But otherwise nothing exciting to add tonight, just trying to get my poor stomach under control :rotfl:
