I've got a beef stew in the slow cooker and normally I will put it in a casserole dish once cooked and put it in the oven and add the dumplings. Has anyone had any success with adding the dumplings to the slow cooker? If so how long do they take and what setting do you put them on? i have low/med/high settings on mine.
Thanks
                Thanks

Yes, I just make the dumplings and plop them on the top 20-30 minutes before it's ready to serve. I don't change the slowcooker setting - sometimes it's high, sometimes it's medium."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

Haven't done it myself but have been served dumplings done on top of the stew in the slow cooker and they were delicious

How did they turn out? I do them in the slow cooker, 30 mins and theyre delicious but the top isnt crispy like if they go in the oven.0
