  • Great find.

I'm always a bit disappointed with Sports Direct. Lonsdale, Karimor, Slazenger, Dunlop, Everlast, Kangol, etc, are Sports Direct owned "brands" now and have gone from being really well designed to just being churned out by cheapo factories with (seemingly) no regard for quality.

So something that I thought was once a sale item (ie, genuinely reduced) is actually a product that was made on the cheap but has a historical brand attached to give the illusion that it is worth more than it is (I know they are all made in the same factories but fabric, design, etc, has been cut)

    Hi silkcutblue

...agree with your comments. (there is no way the trainers promoted RRP £100 - I've bought as cheap to use in the rain and save my better quality pair!)

Sports Direct is a good place to pick up Nike bargains such as the Dri-fit. Sock low are good for my teenagers - I don't feel bad if they lose or they are so dirty I can't wash them!

BUT it's NOT Sports Direct that is closing down or going into liquidation.
Their most recent closing down/liquidation sale offer items in store was all the remaining stock from 133 JJB stores (who had closed after going into liquidation)
Indeed as part of the deal they also bought 20 of the 153 JJB outlets and subsequently rebranded them as SD stores.
