Has anyone here used Micro-Job sites to make money online before?
They are similar to like textbroker and triond (if you like writing) I guess you could say but they are less limited in the sense that you can offer multiple services from one place.
They are not always places to create a full income, in-fact very rarely much like with YouTube or anything similar but you can make some extra dosh.
I've made a bit using https://www.seoclerks.com and https://www.fiverr.com.
What about anyone else?

I use Fiverr (as a seller). Been there for over a year now. I make a bit - could up my earnings there if I promoted myself a lot more (I hardly do).

They're sites such as fiverr.com where you can sign up to do very small jobs for a client. They're like the baby brother/sister of freelancing - you do a job such as writing a short article or posting a review in return for a payment of around the 5 quid mark.0 -
I used Fiverr for around 6 months, recently quit though. If you can offer something good, particularly if it's not something already being offered on the site, then you can get a decent flow of work. For those 6 months I made a little over $500 I think, demand would go up and down; would go weeks without an order and then get 20 in a couple of days. I got sick of it because I ended up dealing with a lot of people who wanted a heck of a lot for their $5. I would probably go back when health issues clear up and I don't have quite as much on my plate.0

The real smart move though is if you can upsell to the gig extras at $5 incriments or use the coupons/sales functionality of some of the micro-job sites. Although SEOClerks allows you to sell for any amount. I would say that SEOClerks has a low number of quality writers and there is a demand on there for quality native English writers and proofreaders and similar services, there are a few other gaps in the market, see Fiverr is already well established but there is still a potential to get in there and steal market share from other sellers. Tip (The Fiverr forum is a good place to establish yourself).
Remember under promise and over deliver, make use of social media pages/blogs to promote your services and try if you can to make yourself as human as possible.
Honestly I have spent so much time on these sites even if you think the markets are saturated some of the quality of them are just not good and I have seen an example of a writer on Fiverr charging $5 per 100 words and $10 gig extra per 400 or something so in essence $15 all together after 20% then $12 and so that is about £7.40 so... It depends, I know someone that makes messages out of spaghetti and all sorts of weird things!0 -
I've joined the Call It A Fiver website: callitafiver.co.uk, they don't charge for listing like some of the other sites and the best thing is that unless you decide to remove your listings they stay on for good.
The problem I have found with some of the sites is that it can take a little bit of time to get traction when trying to sell a service (especially if it's a quirky one), so at least this way it can sit on there and I have time to publicise the link to gain business.
I have always been keen to monetise basic skills, but never been able to find anywhere suitable to do that up until now.

SEOSpammers.com is pretty good! I've bought some valuable gigs on there, I do beleive that the site has potential with the uniqueness it has over Fiverr which you could say is its nearest competitor. Fiverr do have their own market but they are limited to $5, I don't know if the more people that know about SEOSpammers the more will start to use that site instead. It is definitely better for people looking for "Want to buy" in terms of buyers and sellers than Fiverr, the affiliate programme is quite helpful too as are the coupons + gig sales.
Does their idea of SEO include spamming forums?0 -
