Can I freeze these?

I've found what looks like a really yummy recipe and I was wondering whether I could freeze them uncooked (or cooked if that's better)?

Red Onion and Goat’s Cheese Calzones

I was thinking of freezing them flat on a baking tray uncooked then bagging them up so i can pull one out and oven it when I need it? It's basically asking whether you can freeze HM pizza with toppings? As it's fairly similar I think

The recipe states that the dough can be frozen for later use. no other info on freezing tho. hmmm tricky, as in the recipe it says that wetness is the enemy of the dough so freezing uncooked with filling sounds as if it might be a disaster! perhaps make a batch and freeze one to try out?
I think I would be inclined to freeze dough and filling separately then defrost and make then cook - would save a considerable amount of time making the filling!
  • I made curry pasties with bread dough rather than pastry. Froze them uncooked, flat on a tray so I can use one at a time. they worked ok - one split a little bit when I cooked it, but then that often happens with pastry (I
think I roll it a bit too thin). So yes - I reckon you could freeze them uncooked.
