Alternate places to buy Oyster Travelcard than TfL?

I will soon be commuting from Liverpool Street to Cheshunt so am looking at buying a Zones 1-8 annual travelcard which is around £3,000.
I want to maximise cashback by buying through TopCashback, but TfL is not one of their merchants, does anyone know if it is possible to buy this travelcard through a registered merchant, one of the rail sites for example?
Thanks

Do you know that you can get an annual season ticket from Cheshunt to Liverpool Street for £1828.00?
See National Rail's Season Ticket calculator for details.
You will also see that there is another fare of £1960.00, but I don't know what the difference is.
Maybe Oyster payg for any travel in central London, together with one of the above season tickets would work for you.
Of course, if you really want a Travelcard, then please ignore this post.0 -
The £1828 ticket is restricted
LONDON-BOUND DIRECTION
Travel is not permitted on
trains arriving in London
between 07.15 and 09.15 on
Mondays to Fridays.
COUNTRY-BOUND (AWAY FROM
LONDON) DIRECTION
Travel is permitted on any
train.
No restriction applies on
Saturdays, Sundays and Bank
Holidays.
The £1960 would be valid on all trains0 -
If you buy it at a rail station it won't be on Oyster but it won't have been issued by TfL either.
Don't know if that helps?0 -
Thanks for the replies, I don't really want to be restricted to returning via Liverpool Street every time I travel, as sometimes I may want to go back to a different part of London.
I hadn't considered whether it would be cheaper just to use PAYG when I am not going back to Liverpool Street however, I will try to work out if that would be worthwhile.0 -
unless you'll be travelling a lot in those zones the season ticket way with paug would be miles easier.
im in london and I avoid a zonal TC as much as possible.0 -
You can buy it with a cash-back credit card0
