How much are you paying for a hotel? Does it need to be near a good tube station or line?
My OH when a contractor used a group that was under £100 pn and included brekkie, it also included a 3 course evening meal (any of 5 restaurants) if book 2 nights or more with free wifi.

I am only working a short contract outside of London. I can't ever envisage paying £100 p/n for a hotel unless I morphed into Richard Branson! The 1st week is costing £61 per night as I booked late due to only just having it signed off. The 2nd week averages at £52 per night. I will book further ahead once I've worked a couple of days. I don't want to do that until I've started there. I can book the third week now for an average of £44 per night, the 4th week for £42 p/n and perhaps gets this down to less if booking even further ahead. Those prices are fine for me. I'll get 10% cashback on these bookings and I'm paying with a cashback card. I just need to make sure that I eat well and healthily as I will need to knuckle down with my studies so I won't be hitting the gym. I need to make sure that I have my packing in order. So smart office clothes, shoes, toiletries, mp3 player, laptop and charger, mifi, ear plugs, mobile and charger, memory stick, brolly etcetera.0

I keep my work bag packed have dressing gown, hairdryer toiletries etc always ready to go, I just grab undies, tops and a couple of suits plus some casual clothes and I am ready takes 2 mins to pack for a trip and I never forget my toothbrush. Supermarkets do inexpensive breakfasts if you fancy more than cereals but I don't often do the big hotel brekkie as I can't face much first thing. I take weetabix into the office sometimes and fruit...0
