Ok OH told me to do this yesterday as have been suffering with a really irritating cough, think it has been irritating OH more.
He heard it on Chris Evans breakfast show and did it to himself for his cough and said it worked wonders.
Anyway he has literally just grabbed my feet before and rubbed some on for me as I was like no way. But it has worked and my cough is now a lot easier with the odd tickle.
I have googled it and apparently its a well known remedy but thought I would share as I didn't know about it.

Seems related to reflexology.0

I have done this and although it seems daft it does really help. Put a pair of socks on though at night to save your bedding.0

Never heard of this before, will give it a go next time one of us has a cough, Vicks Vapor rub can be gently rubbed on a bruise for about half an hour have a break and then another half an hour to disperse the darkness, I've used this trick many times and it always works. All power is from within and therefore under our control0

It totally works!
Having said that, i've never tried it as an adult, but I do with my little boy when he has a cold, I use the baby vicks and it gives him a full nights sleep without waking himself up coughing.
A godsend!0
