Bizarre Problem with CCCS Payment

My hubby paid his CCCS payment at the post office as usual on our joint account debit card, he paid this on Monday 30/04 at 12:19.
Receipt from this payment says:
"Your account will be debited with the above amount. Cardholder PIN verified. Transaction confirmed."
However this amount has not even been allocated from our bank account and CCCS have not yet received it.
Don't know what to do
Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Hiya
Sometimes card payments take a few days to leave an account, sit tight and try not to worry about it. Is it worth calling your bank if you are that worried and seeing what they say? This weekend is a bank holiday - which I'm sure you are aware of - I, personally, wouldn't be chasing it until Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
Hope it shows soon
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
Checked with the bank but they said nothing has gone through, but as we have the receipt they told me to go to another post office and ask them to look into it as it should have at least been allocated by now.0
