We've been to both Junction One and the one at Banbridge within the last couple of weeks, - Junction One appeared to have a much higher percentage of closed shops, to the extent that it was almost like a ghost town. Of the two, I'd go to the Banbridge Outlet every time.

Was there 2 weeks ago.(The Outlet, Banbridge)
The car park always seems busy to me, but when you start going around the shops, you wonder where everyone is!

Had lunch in Deanes, then walked from one end to the other and while there were a few vacant shops, it was busy enough.
  • junction one is like a ghost town - i only go if i have something specific in mind, like the going to the next clearance or the cosmetics store.

Never been to Banbridge but I would agree that Junction 1 is like a ghost town, loads of empty units and it is very dull and depressing.
The restaurant called We Make is to be avoided, totally overpriced!!!

Is We Make the same as the one that's just opened at the Waterfront Hall? i.e. the usual overpriced Mount Charles rubbish.

Thanks folks, went to banbridge as suggested and hit lucky with Marks and Oasis. Know what you mean about how depressing it can be to see so many units closed. The staff in Banbridge Marks are all lovely and it is a real pleasure to shop there. :)
  • it was so disappointing that Subway closed down in Banbridge and it's really difficult to feed a family of 6 with affordable food that everyone likes there.
