    Yes, I noticed that.

But I suppose if you're entering over each of the sites then you'll have more chances than if it was just each site individually...

but if you miss a mag or a day you're really reducing your entries, I hope this isn't the way they're going

So for example, if the competition runs for a month, by entering once a day on one mag, you have thirty entries for the prize, but if you enter once a day on three mags, you have ninety entries for the prize. It does make me think is it worth the time involved in putting those ninety entries in for what may be a relatively small prize anyway.

I have never done the dailies before, but have been hammering them since Christmas, but have not had a win yet.

I thought they had always done this. :o

I enter them fairly sporadically, depending on the amount of free time I have (I always focus on the single entry comps first). I have had a few nice wins from the dailies so they are definitely worth entering.

  • It never occured to me that it was one prize over all the mags. I assumed it was one prize per mag. That's what happens when you dont read the terms properly. (ie me)

I enter mag comps daily without fail (the last day I missed was Christmas day). Ive not had a win sine December either with them when Ive been lucky with them in the past.
Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers
Total Wins (Since April 2012) £3442.56
Big thanks to all who post comps :T:beer:
  • yes i noticed they`d done this too, theyve always run them seperately so it will be disappointing if this is how theyre going now. given the amount of people entering multiplied by the amount of daily entries its gonna be a miracle to win lol! hopefully it wont be the case with all their comps time will tell i suppose.
Comping Life- wake up in morning, get excited about postie comin, bit more excited as u check emails 1st time, get deflated NO wems!,get more deflated as postie brings junk, enter comps,go to work, wonder if delivery vans brought a surprise!,come home nope no surprises!,check again for wems nope still disappointed!,enter more comps, time for bed,REPEAT!
  • oh so its just 10 prizes spread around all the mags

thats disappointing but hopefully it wont be the norm

I don't think it is 10 prizes spread around the magazines.

The rules say that there are 2 prizes to be won, and also that the winners will be drawn from all the sites.

That says to me that there are only 2 phones available across the 6 mentioned in the first post quote.

The white version of the phone in the prize draw at Look magazine is seperate to this bulk one.

the number of prizes depend on the comp from memory its 5 for the kindle, 2 for the phone and 5 for rubbersole

I've decided to give up on these, I just don't have time to keep up with all the ones I'd like, as well as entering the main board ones and keeping up with work and family life.

On the plus side, that's a few less entries, so slightly more chance for other people to win. :D
