Hi (new to forum),
we are downsizing & have just had an offer accepted on a property & a move in date towards the end of July. Our house has just gone on the market & the estate agents are confident of a quick sale which would enable us to be mortgage free.
I've put down our figures below & want to know our options in the worst case scenario i.e. our house doesnt sell in time,
New house: 130K
Existing house value: 200K
Existing mortgage: 42K (11 years to run).
Earnings: 45-50K.
Obviously we are trying to avoid Bridging loans etc.Could we get a short term mortgage or secured loan ??
Any suggestions greatly appreciated, just trying to plan,
Thanks.
