Good Advice from Michaels....most deals will allow you to hold on to offer for months (I am not switching for 4 months). So if a better deal pops up, all that is lost is the booking fee.

As a Post Office employee they're offering us £200 off the arrangement fee's, so the 5 year fix is looking even more attractive.0
