City Link appear to have lost my new iPad!

Ordered a new iPad 4th generation yesterday for next day delivery.
Got a confirmation email from City Link saying that the parcel was "on route to the delivery depot" last night at about 23:20 and that the planned delivery date was today, as ordered. Anyway, sound lunchtime today I get an email from them apologising that the parcel didnt arrive at their depot. I check the tracking system. It still says "on route to the delivery depot" (being Exeter). They give me no further information, I don't even know if it's still on route or if it's somewhere between "on route" and some undeserving recipient!
