Recruitment agency ID

I was made redundant a couple of weeks ago, thankfully I get paid for another month so it gives me time to look for work. I've applied for a few jobs but not been successful so far.

I've just called an agency to get on to their books but they need ID, that's fine obviously BUT they also need 2 x proof of address which I don't have. I've only just moved in to a rented room in this area (in a friends house, which is temporary) so I have nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions, experience, advice with this?

My 'official' address is my parents over 50 miles away.

If it's about ID then do you have your bank statements sent to your parents' address? Do you have anything like a tax code notice sent by HMRC sent to that address? What's the address on your driving licence if you have one?

All my ID has my parents address on it, like driving license, phone bill and bank.

Use your parents address for ID, and give your current address as a temporary one?
