How to get a new build onto the Royal Mail Address Registry in NI?

We just completed on a new build, but I am unable to complete my phone line transfer with BT, as they state that my new address is not yet on the Royal Mail address register.

Anyone knows what I have to do in NI to get the house added? I found a few notes online on how it works in England, but nothing (so far) about the process in NI.

Our house is the latest one built, all the others were finished some time ago. The older houses all show up, it's just ours that's still missing.

As I work from home full time I need to get my phone/broadband transferred asap, and can't really wait for them to do it on their own time.

Hi, you might need to contact your local council's Building Control department, they deal with ' Postal Name & Numbering' application for new builds. They will directly deal with Royal Mail for you. If not they might be able to help what you need to do. Hope it helps!

This is what you will have to do. Contact your local council and ask for the department that deals with street naming and numbering
