Virgin Media and Moorcroft Debt Recovery - Who do I pay?

I owe money to Virgin Media for a couple of months worth of services, and yesterday I received a reminder from Virgin about it, so I was planning on paying it today at a PayPoint using the bar code on the letter that I received.
However, today I received a letter from Moorcroft Debt Recovery telling me that they have been asked to collect the money.
What would be the best way to pay it so that it's reconnected as quickly as possible? Can I just pay it straight to Virgin as I was going to, or do I have to go through Moorcroft?
Thanks

You almost always have the right to pay the original creditor directly. Pay Virgin and tell them to reign Moorcroft in afterwards. I suggest you also get a letter of settlement just in case there is any confusion going forward.Debt Free! Long road, but we did it
