Dirt-cheap storage furniture (canvas, 2nd hand, anything!)

I bought some canvas-covered wood furniture from ASDA which has held up well, and was looking for more... and I can't believe the prices!
Last year I got 2 x 3-tier shelves for £9 (reduced from £20), and a wardrobe for £29. They did a 5-tier shelf for £25.
The cheapest I can find now is TESCO Direct using a £10 off £40 spend to get the 5-tier shelf for £33!
I've moved to a new flat and am DESPERATE for storage - I'm currently using stackable plastic crates on top of each other, but it's not viable in the longterm. I'd get 2nd-hand house clearance stuff, but most people want collection - I am mildly disabled, and I don't drive.
Keeping my eye out on freecycle as well!
Does anyone have any suggestions? It needs to be solid enough to take some weight - anything with shelves is good!

No shelves, unfortunately, and I can't vouch for how sturdy it is but this is cheap? http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/100-cotton-collection-wardrobe-with-pockets-2405270

I know they're a bit more than what you'd said in the OP but just food for thought. What's your top end budget?
I often find that antique furniture is more sturdy though than the flat pack stuff. Do you have friends/relatives who could keep an eye out and pick up for you if needs be?0 -
timbear, thanks very much for your suggestions. The reason I'm asking for shelves is because I wanted all the contents of the boxes out - currently all of my stuff is very difficult to get to, stacked on top of each other. I also love antique furniture but there is no way I would be able to get into my teeny tiny flat! I do have relatives who have a car but they do not live anywhere near me which makes it very difficult. I am mostly dependent on deliveries if I want anything.
I've looked at the Argos stuff and Tesco direct do the best price so far. I think £30 is a lot of money for something that is just canvas and cheap planks of wood though! It's a shame Asda no longer sell the cheap versions.
I will keep searching on my own however I thought the money savers might have good ideas! I have been reading the forum for years I thought it was a good excuse as any to sign up and start posting!

To add I don't have any particular max budget but I'm trying to keep it low as this furniture would be temporary until I can save up and buy some nice pieces.
I just want to get good value for money really! Maybe around £30 per piece of furniture? I use voice dictation software to create many of my posts. Update: I swallowed my pride and got the TESCO Direct canvas 5-tier drawers - they were £37.98 but I used their promotion today for £10 off £40 (by adding one small thing). I paid £33-odd including home delivery.

I'm enquiring cheekily with some people selling furniture 2nd hand on gumtree to sell if they would be willing to deliver if I threw them some petrol money. I think you should google for images. That'd give you better options. Also, Look at this - visual.merriam-webster<dot>com/images/house/house-furniture/storage-furniture_4<dot>jpg0

TimBear, I went straight for the IKEA pages too! Sadly "local" delivery (including picking) would be £30-£40  I'm also trying to find things that look sturdy and look like furniture in a room, if that makes sense... not just snobbery, but want to get good value out of it.
At the moment I am using AnyVan (which I've used before and think is brill) to get some quotes on transporting things cheap on eBay (sorted listings by Nearest First). Just found a great wooden cabinet with lots of drawers with a 99p start, which will fit in an alcove. I've also found a small bookshelf at £2 which will make a great end table should I win.
Most of my living room furniture at the moment is empty moving boxes taped together with a piece of fabric thrown over them! At least it keeps things off the floor.:rotfl:I use voice dictation software to create many of my posts.
