my experience of the sipp bit is you can only select where to invest in whole % i.e. you can have

    - 5% of total pot in fund A
    - 10% of total pot in fund B
    - 85% of total pot in fund C

    etc

if you want to switch all you can do is reallocate the pot to as many funds as you want with a % against each

the fact you have to work in whole % (no 1.5% etc. just 1% or 2%) is a pain - as it means you can not have exactly the £ amount you want for a particular fund

unlike the fidelity isa you can not work in £ e.g. sell £2k of fund A and buy £1k of fund b + £1k of fund c (you'd have to approximate the same effect using %'s of the total pot)

it's a bit weird, but that;s how it is

my sipp is with them as it got me over a certain threshold for sipp+isa that reduced the platform fees

not sure if it's any different via phone - never thought to try assumed it would be the same, would be useful to know if it's different

There was no charge for a drawdown setup in the Fidelity SIPP. The only issue I think exists is a min transfer-in value of £75,000.

Annual charges are lower than HL. Not aware of any other charges.
