NRAM n repossession

So after advice rom this website I've defined to sign the DOA fron NRAM n mussed my first payment now .. How long can this takevforvthem to repossess as the extra charges in council tax are gonna kill us meet ..

I can only speak with my experience of NRAM that they only went for repossession last month from me not paying them in March 2012 and that was only because I informed them that the second mortgage charge company had started proceedings in the court.

No amount of me telling them to go ahead and repossess seemed to make any difference.

Good luck with it though as they may be quicker.

It is always hard to know whether to leave the property in the situation as you never know how long it is going to take and they seem to just start proceedings when they feel like it.

It may be worth having a chat with the CAB over the council tax charge on the house now you have moved out to see if anything can be done.

They didn't do anything until 9 months had passed with me. Actually repossessed 11 months after I moved out and stopped paying.

All shortfall and second charge fell into my BR.
