BRO Proceedings, update on my situation

Hey, i said I'd drop by to say if anything happened with the 2nd interview and possible BRO actions Id talked about earlier..
I got a letter from the OR giving notice of an intention to apply to the courts for a bankruptcy restriction order against me.
As expected, this wasn't a shock. But yes, just a general notice letter, and said that they had not taken action yet so that I could possibly take the BRU (Undertaking) for a reduced period to avoid court.
The suggested period if it went to court was restrictions for 5-6 years. I thought this was reasonable and had feared more, was about in the middle of what I had thought. The reduced period may be 4 years.
Enclosed was a comprehensive report that outlined the conduct issues I had been responsible for, which all makes sense and again, I never intended to defend myself against any of this in court.
I needed to ring a contact at the I.S. office that was dealing with things, to let them know that I wanted to go ahead with undertaking. She wasn't sure if I already had the form, so I guess sometimes it is sent out, in my case not, so she said she will send out forms which I should read, sign if agreed, then they'll be sent of to the secretary of state for BIS to sign.
So, yes, that's where things are at. Just over a month till AD all going well. Hope everybody else is doing okay

Yeah, I cant envisage how many people proportionately that come here that might end up in that boat, but hoped any useful info was there, at least of what to expect.
The main thing to take note of, if anybody has had the same type of notice, is that I was asked (clearly in the letter, it would be obvious as you read) to contact them in order to ask for a BRU.. it was time limited and I'm guessing past that, they might have already taken it to court. So make sure you don't miss something or put it away for too long. In other's, they might just put the forms in there as I had said earlier.
Everybody will have different circumstances, especially once things get to the BRU stage, but if anybody does have any questions I can offer informal advice on my experience here. I'm not a professional (if it wasnt obvious!) but, can inform on anything that I've had experience with if it's any help.
all the best0
