Not talking about China
Talking about my BTL portfolio
One of the very few forecasters to call the market right in 2012 (unlike Jonny Davies or Capital Economics) are predicting 8% growth again in my part of London:

I didn't realise that Cloud Cuckoo Land was a London suburb. I thought that it was in the Aberdeen area.

Do estate agents ever post articles on their website saying they expect house prices to go down?0

LOL, you seem not to be able to realise plain facts.
Aberdeen had a small 3.225% drop over 2 years but has increased 8.287% since meaning prices are higher than the previous peak.
Nothing cuckoo about it. Just plain facts

Yes - but only when they expect prices to fall

Unlike MoneyWeek, who scream about a house price fall irrespective of the reality0 -

Well if it happens bring it on, but I am a bit more pessimistic than that, I think we'll be scraping along the bottom for a year or 2 more. But we are still going to view a house this weekend, why? Because the alternative investment options appear even poorer, I don't expect this one to be a 'goer' but we need to get back in touch with the market again if there is any possibility of buying again in the near future.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0

What Nollag? You have a BTL portfolio? I don't believe that you've ever mentioned that before.nollag2006 wrote: »Talking about my BTL portfolio
Please tell us more about it, I bet you have a really big one?0 -

I very much doubt that.
Those with "really big ones" tend to have more self confidence and certainly don't feel the need to spend their life on an Internet forum finding losers to ridicule."Beware of little expenses. A small leak will sink a great ship." - Benjamin Franklin0
