Can other people collect prizes for you?

As the title says - can other people collect prizes for you?
My boyfriend is moving far, far away to Manchester (sob) - but on the bright side of this I can now start entering Trafford-centre collection only comps :T
Obviously I will be up there visiting him from time to time, but if there was a time limit - say the prize had to be collected within 7 days or something (I'm talking like I've won already!), would they let him pick it up for me?

You could always enter the competitions that are for prizes up where he lives in his name so if you cant get there and they wont let anyone else claim your prize you wont have any problems.0
