Central Capital

Has anyone here used Central Capital to get a mortgage with bad credit? We've found a house (170,000), we only have a mortgage of £150,000 (which requires either a 5% deposit from us or a vendor gifted deposit, for which we have neither. Also that amount will only buy us a one bedroom flat and we're a family of 4). We really need a 100% or 125% mortgage as the house needs a lot of work on it. Are Central Capital any good at finding you the right mortgage? Anyone here have any experience with them?

    Hi,
Just to let you know we rang Central Capital about our re-mortgage.They searched through all their companies with our details and then offered us the best deals they could find.We didn't have the time or patience to ring loads of different companies ourselves. They have explained everything to us as we went through each stage, pointing out right from the start what we will pay and what for. They are charging us £2495 which i thought was quite alot but they have done alot of the hard work for us and we haven't had to go through too much hassle. We haven't had to pay for much else just £750 completion fees,No solicitors and no valuation costs. They ring us almost daily to tell us whats going on and after only 2 weeks we complete our mortgage today. The deal we got was better than with our previous lender(Natwest). This may not help you but they seem pretty good to me.

There are plenty of whole of market advisers that do not charge a fee and offer the same service, so I would suggest shopping around

We did ring them today but they couldnt help us as we need 100% mortgage but they transferred us through to another company they use called Black and White. Fingers crossed as we havent been able to get a mortgage in the price range we need for a house we saw. If they cant help, I think we'll have to give up :(

The problem is most 100% lenders do not like even the slightest bit of adverse credit history.

There are one or two lenders, but the adverse history they allow for is again quite tight, so not sure if they will be able to help
