Returned direct debit.. HELP!!

I don't know if this is the right forum or not but here goes..
I had a letter this morning from Lloyds TSB stating that a direct debit for my tv license had been returned (amount £12.12). It was purely an oversight on my part... I forgot to transfer some money into the account that it comes out of. It was due to be paid on 1st feb. I have paid it today. My question is will it show up on my credit file that the direct debit was returned? As far a I'm aware, tv licensing doesn't show up on your credit file but will it show against my bank account details?
I'm hoping to remortgage soon and really don't want this to affect my chances.

If your bank account shows on your credit file then when something is returned or if you go overdrawn unauthorised they are allowed to put a '1' marker on your credit file.
If it is just a one off issue not all banks will mark your file.
You are correct that the tv license doesn't appear on your file in its own right as it is not a credit agreement.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Ok thank you.. Yeah my bank account does show on my file so ill just have to keep my fingers crossed that lloyds won't put a marker on. It was a complete one off, never had anything like this before0
