due to the recent moneysaving email, i have checked both northern rock and asda loan for a comparison. £20000 is the money i was looking for. For 60 months deal asda's 5.9% cost per month £388. But northern rock's 6.2% costs only 387.21 per month. I was stunned to see it. How can it happen?

Because there may be setup fees, deferred start dates, different payment arrangements etc0

From a quick look, I would assume its because you selected the 3 month payment break, as this will essentially add the additional interest.0
