Anyone tried clinical trials for Covance in Leeds?

I live about an hour from Leeds, so in total, it would sometimes take up to five or six hours. One was very quick, just a quick chat and checking of my blood pressure and urine sample. I received my check around ten days after the trial. But I was away so it could have arrived sooner. Ask the clinic, they are very helpful. I wish you luck with it and you're doing a good thing.

Just to be clear, the trials weren't actually anything to do with Northwick Park Hospital. They were conducted by Paraxel in a ward hosted by the hospital, so the hospital shouldn't in anyway be linked to whatever shortcomings there were.

I agree Gardenqueen, Covance do great work and although there are a number of urban myths about clinical trials, the truth is that the safety of volunteers is always the primary concern of those carrying out the trial.

Without volunteers, new medicines could not be licensed, so medical advancements would literally grind to a halt.

I have taken part in a trial at Covance and I had a great time. I spent most of the trial reading my kindle, the food they provided was great, and I felt very well cared for. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
