Mortgage fees

Hi

Just a quick question. When do you normally pay mortgage arrangement fees? Do you pay them upfront or on completion? Its not an option for us to add them to the mortgage unfortunately.

thank you

in my case they the mortgage company have taken all the fees off the advance that they are forwarding to my solicitor.

So you end up giving the money for the fees to your solicitor.

It will depend on the lender and the product. Sometimes you have the choice of adding them to the mortgage; other times you have to pay it up front.
