Eat Natural with...almonds, apricots and a yoghurt coating

Right folks,

I am in love with these Eat Natural bars with almonds, apricots and a yoghurt coating.

I am constantly eating them whilst researching in the library at the moment, and £1 a go from the vending machine is steep, to say the least! So, I would like to know where I can get some of these where they are not going to cause me to become bankrupt! Got some from Tesco today, 3 bars, weighing 50g for £2.09 (off the tp of my head!) I wonder if I can get them even cheaper.

I have only seen the 50g bars, but apparently, you can get them in 35g bars-I am open to options-I suppose I should start watching my waistline as well as my pennies!

As I hadn't heard of them I looked Eat Natural up and found www.eatnatural.co.uk Did a search on Shorters Club and they don't stock them.

According to www.mysupermarket.co.uk ASDA has boxes of 4 x 33g of the cranberries, macadamia nuts and dark chocolate flavour for 1.68 on special offer at the moment with 4 x 35g bars boxes of yogurt coated almond and apricot and 4 x 35g bars of brazila, sultanas, almonds and peanuts same price

Waitrose do a box of 4 x 35g bars of the mauve ones (the one with the brazil nuts & almonds) I think it's just under £2.

They're the healthiest snack bar on the market. Those and Nakd bars are the only ones I'll eat.

Yoghurt coating (30%) (vegetable oil, sugar, milk whey, dried yoghurt, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin), dried apricots (17%), almonds (12%), shredded coconut (12%), glucose syrup, crisped rice (rice, sugar), honey.

not as healthy as you think, almost as much sugar as a chocolate bar! the nakd ones are better as they only contain natural occuring sugars.

Try the discount stores for cereal bars, B & M, Home Bargains etc. They are certainly cheaper, but maybe not as healthy as more expensive ones. You might consider making your own, at least you will know what's in them. There is far too much sugar in commercially made ones.

The ones without yoghurt coating only contain natural honey which are the ones I prefer.

But if you were to compare them to a similar product such as this yoghurt granola bar (which claims to be healthy :eek: )you will see they still come out on top

Just how much bad fat & sugar does a snack bar need!!! And high fructose corn syrup is the worst possible form of sugar you could eat and is responsible for the increasing global obesity & diabetic epidemics we see today.

I've just bought a couple of these this evening at my local Tesco Express on offer at 2 for £1.20

All the main supermarkets do them as I get them regularly for my son because they are gluten-free. Have a look in the Free-From Sections for the packs of 4.
