Come on now, it's perfectly acceptable to be disappointed in something regardless of whether it was free or not.
This company isn't giving away these things out of the goodness of their hearts. The contents of these boxes are nearly all collectible items or parts of a series or small samples of a full item. They are hoping that the children these boxes are aimed at will want to collect the full set, read the next book, eat the sweets every day, and that they will persuade their parents to buy them for them.
This is advertising and you do not have to like everything that is advertised to you. It is the company's job to be appealing and accessible and if they aren't, and if they target the wrong items to the wrong audience, then it is them that will suffer.
  • Probably because they are aimed at kids not the 'Ill have it cos its free' brigade.

OK I will bite, how about a nice big bowl of "keep your rude comments to yourself"

    :rotfl:

oh and BTW the contents WILL go to a child

I'm expecting one. Good to know it fits through the letterbox - I thought I'd done something wrong when I clicked through to accept my box and it asked for my home address. No more ByBox lockers!
  • I got one today too, with the same things in it.:j
  • I'm waiting for mine to come through this week. The last one we got was ok and my boy is only 7 but loves his books and trading cards so he's happy to be getting another one.
  • Is shipping free for this?
