Pension AVC

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. 2 years ago I set up a Pru Teachers AVC with my employer. Today I called the Pru to make an amendment but was told there was no money in the account. It appears my AVC's have been paid into the incorrect pension scheme (Teachers Pension Scheme). I want the money back - I no longer want it to go to the Pru - just want it back as I've missed out on 2 years of interest. Can I do this as the mistake was my employers?

Thanks

This is different to what you said in the pensions section.

How was it your employers mistake? The two methods have different forms and go off to different places. The teachers additional pension may well be better value than the AVC.
just want it back as I've missed out on 2 years of interest.

Neither options pays interest. So, you havent missed out on any interest.
