Hi, petethefire.
Thanks very much for a great find. So sad that your first response was a pillock post. Please try to ignore that. This is normally a great site with a friendly atmosphere. Welcome from the rest of us!

How was it a pillock post? Did you not see the

I took it as a joke, i think most others would too.
But thanks OP great bargain.0 -
How about taking the coupon off the packs once they've been scanned through the till and presenting it for part payment there and then, thus avoiding the need to go and buy more and more?!0

I'm not sure what to say; I felt it was a sarcastic comment to a new member making their first post. If I was wrong, I apologise but IMHO, posting a winking emoticon does not negate the sarcasm.
I don't think it appropriate or productive to go off the OP's thread by starting a debate about sarcastic comments but I would like to get my point across.
The opinions of experienced posters would be appreciated, perhaps best by PM.0 -

Because unless the Checkout Operator was blind, or you were VERY sneaky, then they would'nt allow it. It no doubt says on the coupon (£1 off your next purchace) 'Next' being the one after the one you just made.
You could not go for the multi-buy and rip it off to use on the next transaction and place a divider between the 2 packets :rotfl:
Well done OP :T

To be fair, I very much doubt that they'd have a problem with doing what I suggested, but each to their own!0 -

I though it was funny, but then realised you hadn't allowed for the additional expense of a clothes peg...0
