going to court tomorrow-yikes

I am going to the court tomorrow to sort out my bankruptcy, I actually plucked up the courage to go yesterday but the sods were on strike, so I'm going to try again tomorrow. Just hope they aren't on strike again.
I'm a little nervous but think I will be more nervous about speaking to the OR because I've heard/read that they try to trick you into admitting you have items etc, (although I really don't) but I have my pc etc so I'm worried about these kind of items being taken, because I need it for studying. I just can't wait until it's all over!

Just thought I'd share that with you, that's all lol;)

You'll be fine, it's usually more anticipation than actuality that's the worst!

And your PC will be fine, providing it's not state of the art, £1000+.

They do delve, they do ask questions but it's just their job. If you've nothing to hide, you'll be fine.

Good luck, let us know how it goes!

  • thanks Bakey,
pc was worth about £500 new, it's now about 2.5 years old so def. not worth £1000+.

In a couple of weeks I will hopefully be one of the many many many people who come on to say "what was I worrying about"
    Fingers crossed anyway.

Thanks for everyones posts, they have been a great help in coming to this decision.

    GOOD LUCK

Let us all know how it went.

I believe the standard piece of advice is have wine in the fridge and cash ready for a take out.
